"Michael is a bit of a mystery when we first meet him. He’s very composed, very professional, and he’s in Italy for a specific reason. But then he encounters Anna, and she’s just this force of nature that he doesn’t know how to handle. 

Their first meeting at the gastronomia is a bit of a disaster, honestly. He’s got this very specific way of doing things and she just comes in and disrupts everything. But as they spend more time together, you start to see the cracks in his armor and you realize that he’s just as lost as she is in some ways. Working with Hallie was a dream. 

She’s so talented and she brings this incredible energy to every scene. We had a lot of fun exploring the dynamic between our characters and finding those moments of connection amidst all the chaos. And of course, filming in Italy was just spectacular. The scenery, the atmosphere, it all just feeds into the performance and makes everything feel so much more grounded and real. It’s a story about finding yourself in the most unexpected places and with the most unexpected people, and I think that’s something everyone can relate to."
