Miguel Francisco in the movie The Book of Clarence: ‘My character is looking for a miracle’
23-02-2024

Miguel Francisco is one of the actors in the film The Book of Clarence, which was released in the United States.  Struggling to find a better life, Clarence is captivated by the power of the rising Messiah and soon risks everything to carve out a path to a divine existence. The film has been well received by audiences and has grossed $6.1 million to date.

“My character is an old man who is looking for a miracle to heal him - said Miguel - He's not in the best shape. He's not very healthy. But he wants this guy named Clarence to heal him and give him new strength and new energy”.

Miguel recently participated in the Meet & Greet event at the Berlinale Film Festival, the event organized by Crawford Talents, Red Carpet Actors, Black Universe, The Actors Home by Luci Lenox, which aims to create a network between actors, directors and producers. I mean, networking is, I would say, one of the most necessary things an actor has - said Miguel -  it just because the business is like that. How do you say that? It's a small business, right? And people cast people that they know, that they know have done a good job. And in our business it's very necessary to be seen. So if nobody knows you and nobody has seen your work, it's going to be hard for you to get a job”.

For the next project, “I'm shooting a movie right now called Mezzanine and it's about a Latino mafia boss. And I play the main character, the mafia. And for this year also our movie Goodnight Killers will come out and I'll be seen on Germany's most popular TV show, Tatort, around Christmas”.
