You worked also in “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets”. You can tell us something about this experience?

In this movie, I am playing a Japanese Delegate. It was a huge project, all the sets, the costumes, everything was wonderful, very surreal to the point where time seemed to stop. We could of easily been made to believe that we were somewhere else, living in another galaxy or universe, travelling aboard a spacecraft.

A sorry that stands out in my mind was on my last shooting day. After the last take, the director Luc Besson wanted to take a photo of the “Japanese Delegation” to put on his Instagram, the two others actors were already posing but because I was at the opposite side and all the crew was packing and moving stuff, I couldn’t get in so Luc screamed at me “Alex…Do you want to get fired”, I replied to him “But the movie is wrapped” and with sarcasm he said “So what, you want to get fired”, Luc will be always Luc, he had a great sense of humour!
