I loved working with John Malkovich. He is extremely focused, poised and yet playful in that magical way that brings freshness to every take. We spent time between set ups chatting about favorite plays and the challenges and joys of creating your own theater company - a thing we have in common. There were people from so many different countries, languages and traditions all coming together on set and Michael (Apted), with his quiet, composed certainty was the guiding energy that brought it all together. He’s an absolute prince.
