What is your next project?

Well today I auditioned for a nice play. I am very much looking forward to a four hander play with a fab friend and director in the new year. Covid allowing. There is a film also that has been on hold since Covid struck. So, the next project is on the other side of Mercy flying free I think. It has taken a lot of my energy. It needed me – like an infant – but it is almost ready to take its first steps and then I can step into the next space whatever that holds. I am glad that I have put this film into the universe to be here when I am gone – I just hope that it’s concerns may it be obsolete soon.

As a side note, my grandfather who I never knew was an Italian journalist living in England. My father was brought up by his mother so never knew him.  This year I may have found out who he was and that has been terribly exciting and emotional, I am waiting to hear back from a wonderful historian who has been helping me – and we are awaiting some very interesting records to come from Italy. Italy is in my blood, I am happy to say.
