Movie Comedy Fackham Hall: Murder in the English Estate with Ben Radcliffe and Thomasin McKenzie

Fackham Hall, the plot of the movie

Fackham Hall is the upcoming comedy movie. In 1931, pickpocket Eric Noone (Ben Radcliffe) secures employment at the English estate of Fackham Hall. He quickly rises through the ranks and falls in love with the lady of the house, Rose Davenport (Thomasin McKenzie).

But when an unexpected murder occurs, Eric is framed, leaving the future of Rose and her family uncertain.

“Stop being clever and do your job,” says matriarch Lady Davenport (Katherine Waterston) in the released trailer. Immediately after, Eric pours champagne for the children. When Lord Davenport (Damian Lewis) is found dead, “I believe the murderer is in this room, and if there’s anything unusual, you can be certain I’ll notice it,” says the investigator.

“God is there and makes His light shine - says a priest while celebrating a wedding - and today He’s highlighting these two jerks.”

Ben Radcliffe has appeared in Red Sonja, and the TV series The Witcher and Masters of the Air.

Thomasin McKenzie has recently worked in the TV series Life After Life, and in the movies The Power of the Dog, Eileen, and Jojo Rabbit.

Damian Lewis has starred in the series Homeland and Billions. Katherine Waterston has participated in episodes of The Agency and Perry Mason, and in the Fantastic Beasts movie series.

The direction is by Jim O’Hanlon, who previously directed Your Christmas or Mine? and several episodes of The Punisher.

The production is by Mews Films and Anonymous Content. Filming began in Yorkshire in November 2024 and was completed by the end of the year. The movie releases in the United States on December 5, 2025, and on the 12th in the United Kingdom.
