'Jessica Jones' tv series: interview with actor JR Ramirez
'Jessica Jones' is a web series on Netflix.
A. Oscar is a talented artist who moves into Jessica's building as the super. He’s a devoted father. He’s a good guy who wears his emotion on his sleeve.
Q. The set is female.
A. I also got the pleasure of working with 10 different badass female directors this season. It was so inspiring seeing them come in and take over in a mostly male-dominated set.
A. Yeh, I didn’t have a lot of action to do this season but action mixed in with a little drama is the perfect combination for me. Yes, Jessica Jones was actually my favorite one of all the Netflix Marvel shows, so it was a true pleasure to join this awesome series.
A. I think one of the biggest differences in working for a company like Netflix is that all of our content is released at one time. I’m used to the one episode a week thing so this was refreshing and nerve wrecking all at the same time for me! LOL
A. Well, Power is on their 5th season and renewed for a 6th. And, it seems it might not have aired there yet, but <SPOILER ALERT> my character had an extremely gruesome death in season 4 so I’m not returning to that series. I think Power has found a way to make those characters so relatable that once people started watching, they can’t stop.
A. The Four Agreements is one book that truly resonates with me. It's one I tend to go back and read over and over as time passes.
A. No, I've never been to Italy :( It’s on my list of places to visit for sure!!
A normal day for me consists of working out, walking my dog, lots of cooking, and I love to watch a good movie every now and then.
