The series is set in Hollywood. Can you tell us a couple of ways in which your show portrays the Hollywood industry as it actually is?
People in the industry tell me all the time that they love the show because they recognize so much in it. Sam feels like Tressa isn't doing enough for her career, while a lot of what Tressa does is protecting Sam from pain and disappointment in ways Sam will never know about. We also get to see how unglamorous the work of being an actor really is a lot of the time, especially for a 50-year-old woman who the industry doesn't see as sexy or desirable anymore.
