You wrote "The Kissing Booth", a novel about a love story set in California, between a girl who’s never been kissed and a boy, Noah. How was the idea of the novel born?
I'd been looking for something to read - I wanted just a regular high school romance, but everything seemed to have vampires or werewolves at the time, and I just wanted something less paranormal. When I couldn't find the kind of book I wanted to read, I wrote it instead - and came up with The Kissing Booth!
