Interview with director Max Talisman: 'Things Like This' is the new film
Did you face any challenges writing the script or casting the actors you envisioned on having star in the film?
I had challenges with both. While writing the script I felt that I wasn’t doing enough, that there was always more that could be added, or changed, or edited. Then, during casting we got very lucky, and we assembled a spectacular group of actors including, Academy Award Nominee Eric Roberts, Primetime Emmy Nominee Miles Tagtmeyer and Charlie Tahan. We’re still in the process of casting a few more roles with some very exciting people, so I look forward to announcing that soon! You always envision your characters a certain way, and it’s very hard to hand off the characters to anyone. Luckily, my characters are in absolutely incredible hands but the trepidation before finding this cast was deep, and I’m just so grateful we have the stellar people we have.
