Interview with singer Jesse Lynn Madera, 'Come Visit Soon' is new album
Jesse Lynn Madera is singer-songwriter.
Is there a red thread linking the pieces of "Come Visit Soon"?
I’m trying to find home inside of myself. Years ago, living in New York City, I planned to get a tattoo on my forearm of a child’s drawing of a house, to remind myself that I’m always home. I’ve moved so much in my life, that the concept of home - finding it, or leaving it - is a red thread. I’m not so sure about the tattoo now, but the sentiment is permanent.
