You're Hungarian. How is the cinema situation in Hungary?

Hungarian film industry is very small, we produce about 15-20 feature films per year. There is however a new wave of talented Hungarian film makers who have the skills of creating wonderful and well crafted films that bring the high standards back into the Hungarian cinema. Nemes Jeles Laszlo's Son of Saul, in 2015 Hungary won the Oscar in the category of the best foreign film. He is however just one of the great film directors, who have made recently a remarkable footprint in the global film industry. Szabolcs Hajdu, Kristof Deak, Kornel Mundruczo, Bence Fliegauf - just to mention a few- also have justified themselves to belong of to the internationally acknowledged top notch film directors of the global industry.
