JA Bayona seemed to have real eye for detail, and was very keen to achieve the right atmosphere for the scene. It was filmed from the perspective of Connor, who can feels unsettled by the presence of the suited lawyer, witnessing things being secretly arranged. I found out the director had used music to get the actors in the mood for the scene depicting the last moments before the death of Connor's mum.
