The chic anti Covid-19 masks: interview with a company from New York
The use of masks has become mandatory with the Coronavirus Emergency
As the face masks become more a part of everyday life, a company called, Saridjo has enlisted its network of artisans around the world to create a line of custom-designed embroidered face masks. Experts predict that they will continue to be a first line of defense against COVID-19 for as many as two more years.
How did the idea of the mask come about?
We are based in New York where we were hit hard by COVID-19 back in March. Finally, New Yorkers are able to curb the rate of COVID-19 cases because we follow strict guidelines of wearing masks in public, yet it is still a controversy here in the States where there are still a number of people who refuse to wear them.
By creating this initiative, we want to offer one of a kind artisan-made face mask that hopefully will entice more people to wear them, with the main goal to spread a message and awareness of the effectiveness of wearing masks to help curb the spread of COVID-19.
