Plot of I Will Find You: the Harlan Coben thriller on Netflix
The series I Will Find You, based on the 2023 novel of the same name by Harlan Coben, will be available on Netflix from June 18, 2026. The story follows David Burroughs, played by Sam Worthington, a man wrongfully sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of his son. When he receives news that his son may still be alive, David decides to break out of prison to discover the truth, immersing himself in a world of deceit and secrets.
The eight-episode series is adapted by Robert Hull.

The series cast includes well-known names from television and cinema: Sam Worthington plays David Burroughs, the imprisoned father fighting to prove his innocence. Britt Lower is Rachel Mills, a disgraced former journalist who sees in the discovery of a secret a possible professional rebirth. I Will Find You represents Harlan Coben’s first collaboration with Netflix set in the United States, a change from his previous works filmed in Europe, including the United Kingdom, France, and Spain. Coben emphasized how this production marks a “home” return and boasts a high-level team of talents.
The series is produced by Final Twist Productions, with Coben and Hull as executive producers, along with Bryan Wynbrandt, Steven Lilien, and John Weber.
