Sound of Freedom is the upcoming drama and action movie. Tim Ballard (Jim Caviezel), a Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) special agent, quits his job to become a vigilante. He sets out on a dangerous mission to save children from cartels and human traffickers in Mexico and Colombia.

Jim Caviezel starred in Infidel and The Passion of the Christ, as Jesus, and will star in The Passion of the Christ: Resurrection. Also in the cast is Mira Sorvino, who recently starred in After 4: The actress won an Oscar in 1995 for her role in Mighty Aphrodite directed by Woody Allen. With her are Kurt Fuller, previously seen in the TV series Evil; Bill Camp, who has the role of Commissioner McNamara in The Boston Strangler. It is directed by Alejandro Monteverde, who previously directed Little Boy: the screenplay is his and Rod Barr's (Is That You?), inspired by the story of Tim Ballard and the events that led him to become an anti-child trafficking activist before founding Operation Underground Railroad. "I'm so proud to be a part of this impactful movie," said Jim Caviezel, "In fact, I would say this is the second most important movie I've made since The Passion of the Christ.

The production is by Santa Fe Films. Principal photography began in the summer of 2018, in Calexico - in California - and Cartagena, Colombia. Sound of Freedom is released in theaters on July 4, 2023.
