The Picasso of Thieves is a streaming documentary. It tells the story of a skilled painter, Joselito "Picasso" Vega, who becomes an expert at stealing works of art. The cast also includes art crime historian Noah Charney. The film is directed and produced by Anna Cespedes and Carlos Cespedes. "It will leave audiences as spellbound as we were while making it," said Anna Cespedes. Vega, who worked as a painter for more than a decade, stole more than $100,000 worth of artwork (including a Picasso) before he was arrested in 2013. The film is produced by TMGroup Productions and New Heat Media. The Picasso of Thieves is streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Photo Credit: Michele Eve Sandberg .
