The piece that I begin rehearsing next week, Arthur Miller’s The Crucible, at DeSales University. It’s based on the true story of the witch trials of 1692 in Salem, Massachusetts, and was Mr. Miller’s response to the communist “witch hunts” of the 1950s in the United States.
