Q. You’ve  worked as a model. What is the most annoying and most enticing aspect of this work?

A. Now living in social media age everyone compares themselves to each other and our society wants us to look a certain way. On social media people get judged a lot for not looking a certain way and I do see a lot of women being put down because they aren’t slim enough or they aren’t curvy enough. I think it’s important to appreciate your body and love yourself. Every one of us have different bodies and we are all beautiful in our own way. Instead of putting down women uplift them and compliment them. The most enticing aspect of this work now is that I get to meet amazing people. One of my favorite moments was when I had the chance to meet and hug Tyra Banks and she complimented me on my outfit. She is such a down to earth person and absolutely hilarious! Also, I get to work with amazing brands. I definitely want to continue working with more brands and also travel around the world to learn more about the fashion industry in different countries.

Q. What do you think about the tendencies of many young people who become influencers on Instagram?

A. I think Instagram is an amazing platform for anyone to grow your brand and the biggest advantage to this that it is free. You get to create content that you are passionate about whether it is beauty, fashion or fitness or even traveling which is amazing. It is important to know what you are passionate about and create content that you love so people will start engaging with you. Also, most important is to be yourself. If you are someone who is new to Instagram, I think the first step is just to create your profile and don’t overthink too much just be yourself and stop worrying what others think of you.

Q. Is there work behind a photo posted on Instagram?

A. Yes. Good lighting, a selfie light or ring light is great for photos. Good lighting is definitely key to any photograph.

Q. Do you give importance to the diet?

A. I am naturally slim which is an advantage because I can eat what I want. But it is also important to eat right and add healthy carbs and protein to your diet. I try to eat as healthy as possible. I recently downloaded Tammy Hembrow’s fitness app and I like her tips on diet. Her diet tips are very good, and she also has diet plans for people who are vegan and vegetarian. Exercising is very important not just to look great but most importantly for your wellbeing.

Q. You worked at videoclip of Nervo. How has this experience?

A. Acting is something new to me right now and I do want to eventually cross over from modelling to acting. Being on set is a lot of fun because you get meet amazing people. I been on set filming with Nervo for a music video Forever or nothing and these girls are so down to earth and super friendly. I love them both. I think it was one of the funnest shoots I have done. My very first mannequin challenge was with Nervo in a music video so was very cool.

Q. You are from Lviv. What do you miss about your city?

A. I do miss my home town very much. I was born there and spent some of my childhood there. They say home is where the heart is which is true. All my family are Ukrainian and I adore them very much. I do love Ukrainian culture and the people in Lviv are very open hearted and very friendly. Lviv is definitely an amazing place to visit and the food there is amazing.

Q. Something you love and hate  about Los Angeles.

A. I absolutely love Los Angeles weather and there is always so much to do you will never get bored that’s for sure. Los Angeles is the capital of entertainment which is amazing to network and meet new people and grow your brand. One thing I do hate about Los Angeles is the traffic!

Q. Have you ever been to Italy?

A. Yes! I have been to Rome before. Rome is such a beautiful city with so much history and the food is absolutely amazing! I love your pizza very obvious. I definitely would love to go back there. I have visited the Vatican it is amazing and Trevi fountain I guess my wish came through! I would also love to visit Milan and Venice in 2019. I want to go to Milan Fashion week and also go to Venice film festival. This makes me want to plan a girl’s trip.

Q. What is your next project?

A. You can follow me on Instagram @khrystynaofficial to see what my next projects are. I also post positive and motivational quotes. I am working on a project right now but cannot reveal anything just yet. I will be modelling with CTZ Glam Hair, a well-known brand in Los Angeles, as well as collaboration with producer and photographer Christopher Robin Gallego. We are doing a photo shoot and hosting project soon this year. I have worked with him before on a tv show so I always look forward hearing about his creative ideas and choosing me as a lead model in his projects.
