Interview with fashion blogger Giulia Biaggini: 'More brand wanted to approach ‘micro influencers’

Giulia is the VIP Relations Specialist CLD PR, one of the biggest Public Relations agency in LA- She leads a team and works closely with the most important influencers and celebrities such as Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, or Cardi B, among others, making sure they get dressed in the most striking way to impress their audience.

What is the key aspect of connecting a brand with a celebrity?

First of all, you have to know what person to go through for that specific celebrity. Celebrities have big teams, from their stylists to their agents, PAs, managers etc. so it’s always best to understand first who’s the best contact for whatever reason the brand wants to reach out to the celebrity. If it’s an event, their publicist might be the best option, if it’s for gifting or loaning pieces for one of their looks then their stylist would be great, etc. Once you have the right contact, it’s very important to write a very nice, professional pitch, explaining the reason for reaching out and introducing the brand, highlighting why this brand is special and why they’d want to collaborate with said celebrity!
