Interview with 'Film Fest' director: 'The story is a combination of the best and worst of us'
Film Fest is in streaming on Amazon Prime Video and iTunes
Who is your favorite Italian director and why?
Martin Scorsese. Hands down. He is Italian and he’s a director. Not only that, he’s been directing at a high level for 50 years. That’s insane to me. The man is 78 years old and still innovating. My writing partner, Paul Alan Cope could wax poetic about Fellini, but I’d be lying if I said watched more of his films than Scorsese’s - He has at least 5 movies that I have to finish if they happen to be on. To me, Scorsese the Tom Brady of directing, only far more interesting.
