Interview with 'Film Fest' director: 'The story is a combination of the best and worst of us'
Film Fest is in streaming on Amazon Prime Video and iTunes
You worked on Goliath. Can you tell us about this experience?
Goliath was a fun surprise. The director/show-runner, Lawrence Trilling, directed me on an episode of Parenthood in 2012 and somehow he remembered me and offered me the part. Now, I didn’t necessarily do a whole lot, but it was a lot of fun being part of Dennis Quaid’s posse and talk to Billy Bob between set-ups about filmmaking. He is incredibly chatty on set because he’s a very social guy, but can’t really hang out in public anymore. Lawrence was kind enough to let me hang out in video village and observe the Amazon funded production with all the bells and whistles. Maybe one day…
