I love this franchise, I love Mason, I am so excited and honored to be working with Kevin and the whole new gang, to have Neve back, to work with Courteney, to work with Joel. It's just... so much fun.

So we meet Mindy and Chad, I think it's been a few years. They finished college, they ended up interning for Gale and so she’s bringing them along to solve this Ghostface mystery, murder.

When I heard Kevin was directing, I was so intimidated because I’d only met him a couple times and he’s a legend. Like, this franchise wouldn’t exist without him. And... I don't know how this will sound but I'm no longer intimidated by him. He is the sweetest, kindest, most humble, talented, delightful person and working with him has been a dream and I hope that I get to continue to for a really long time.

I think you have to see a Scream film in the theater. The... the scares, the... the stunts, it’s all very big and theatrical and it’s just... a community experience, you know?"
