TV Series Ted Lasso: interview with actor Stephen Manas

It took place in London, quite close for me then being in Paris, and I could come back home from time to time during shooting. I didn't know much about the project until I was fully confirmed, then I was able to get a good look at the cast and saw Bill Lawrence’s name … I was no other than a “happy-go-lucky kid.” I still remember, at the precise moment, I was in Greece on holiday, surrounded by tourists, my agent just told me : “Good news, you are in Ted Lasso” and I screamed so loud, I scared everyone around and I kept thinking I made a baby cry (sorry little one for waking you up). But still, it went down quite fast as well, I know the project’s journey is only starting.

The experience was astounding of course, and shooting went just marvellous, at least for me. There must be hundreds of problems for the production team and the head of the project they had run through to deliver such a great result, and you can’t imagine the amount of work you have to do to deliver a project like this one.
