Working with Kevin Costner, Octavia Spencer: interview with actor Kurt Krause

Prior to starting, I was a little nervous to be on set with such notable actors. I mean, I watched all of these actors in films when I was growing up. Some of them inspired me to pursue this career in the first place. However, once I arrived on set, they immediately put my mind at ease. All of the other actors truly treated me like an equal. The only thing they asked in return was that I put as much effort and heart into my performance as they did. I hope that I was able to accomplish that. I can say that it was an invaluable learning experience, and I had a blast every day on set.
