Discover the ranking of the most watched movies in the USA, from Ella McCay to Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 and Zootopia 2
Zootopia 2
The box office of the most watched movies in the United States from December 12 to 14, 2025 - with still provisional data - sees Zootopia 2 climbing back to first place ($258,970,004): the brave rabbit police officer Judy Hopps and her friend, fox Nick Wilde, join forces to solve a new case, the most dangerous and intricate of their career.
Five Nights at Freddy’s 2
Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 drops to second place ($95,481,015): a year after the massacre unleashed at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, Abby escapes to reunite with her animatronic friends, discovering dark secrets about the true origins of Freddy’s. But she uncovers a new horror hidden for decades.
Wicked: For Good
Wicked: For Good remains in third place ($312,145,295): Elphaba is the future Wicked Witch of the West, Glinda is the Good Witch of the North. Elphaba is demonized and lives in exile, hidden in the forest of Oz, while continuing her struggle for the freedom of the silenced Animals of Oz: she attempts to reveal the truth she knows about the Wizard, while Glinda has become the glamorous symbol of goodness throughout Oz, living in the palace of Emerald City.
Dhurandhar
Dhurandhar rises from ninth to fourth place ($1,980,000): this is a saga inspired by real events set in the world of Indian criminal underworld and patriotism.
Now You See Me: Now You Don’t
Now You See Me: Now You Don’t remains in fifth place ($59,340,400): the group of illusionists known as the Horsemen reunites thanks to a diamond heist. New members join the team, and their purpose is also to capture dangerous criminals.
To find a newcomer, one must reach seventh place, with Ella McCay ($2,100,000): an idealistic young woman juggles her family life and her work life, now that she has accepted the position of new governor of her state.
In eighth place is the re-release of How the Grinch Stole Christmas ($1,850,000), and in tenth that of The Shining ($1,560,000).
Silent Night, Deadly Night enters at twelfth ($1,120,000): a child witnesses the murder of his parents by a man dressed as Santa Claus. Years later, as an adult, he himself wears a Santa Claus costume and pursues a violent revenge against those responsible for the traumatic event of his childhood.
At twenty-fourth is Resurrection ($64,200): in a society where people stop dreaming to extend their lives, some dangerous individuals continue to dream, distorting the fabric of time.
