The plot of 40 Dates and 40 Nights: forty dates to find love

40 Dates and 40 Nights is the comedy movie coming out. Leah (Bailee Madison), tired of modern dating and apps, is ready to give up on love and accept a single life.

But when her grandmother Gigi (Annie Potts) proposes an irresistible challenge – forty dates in forty nights in exchange for a year of free rent – Leah cannot refuse.

"You're really sexy, a good six out of ten" says Buzz (Eric Nelsen) to Leah in the released trailer. "I have an idea. Go on forty dates, and if you find the right person, I'll pay your rent" Gigi proposes to her.

"Is it okay if we split the bill evenly?" asks a first guy at dinner. "Love doesn't happen overnight" a guy, Mason (Joel Courtney), tells her.

Bailee Madison has worked on the TV series Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin and in the movie Damaged.

Joel Courtney has recently acted in the movie Soul on Fire and in the TV series The Rookie, after playing in The Kissing Booth.

Annie Potts has participated in Ghostbusters and Designing Women, and in episodes of Young Sheldon and Best Medicine.

Completing the cast are Jack Schumacher, Eric Nelsen and Jai Rodriguez.

Andy Delaney directs the new romantic comedy

The direction is by Andy Delaney, who has already directed Holly by Nightfall and Love Is Blind.
