Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, the movie’s plot
Ready or Not 2 is the horror and comedy movie coming out. It’s the sequel to Ready or Not (2019), in which a young bride, Grace, at the wedding reception discovers that her in-laws perform a strange nocturnal game ritual, which turns into a series of murders: they, in fact, have made a pact with the devil.
The plot centers on Grace MacCaullay (Samara Weaving), sole survivor of a brutal “game” that caused the death of her husband and in-laws. Now, the richest and most influential families on earth must kill her in a new game, otherwise they risk losing their power and their fortunes.
Grace refuses to participate, but has no other choice when she discovers that her younger sister has also been condemned to death and she must protect her at all costs.
“Thank God it’s over” Grace says to herself in the released trailer, while she’s in a hospital bed and after having recalled what happened. She realizes, however, that she’s tied to the bed.
“You’ve created quite a stir, Mrs. Le Domas. You married a member of that family, and now they’re dead. What you didn’t know is that this goes well beyond their means,” the lawyer (Elijah Wood) tells Grace - tied to a chair and with her mouth blocked. “By surviving Hide and Seek, you’ve triggered a new game, this time against the Families of the High Council (…) This part will be familiar to you; they’ll try to kill you.”
Then the game begins between the two families “I’m not playing” Grace defends herself; “Ok. Kill her sister” the lawyer orders. Thus begins the hunt, in which the two families must kill her.
