Plot of Lucky Strike: war and survival
Lucky Strike is the action and drama movie coming out. The story, inspired by real events, follows the events of an American soldier (Scott Eastwood) trapped behind enemy lines during the last great German offensive of World War II.
Armed only with his Motorola SCR-300 radio, the protagonist relies on his own intelligence and espionage techniques to hinder the advance of the Nazi Panzer army and find his way home.
"The German counteroffensive has been underway for three days - the captain tells the soldiers - we must block that road". "Do you realize we have 400 pounds of explosives there?" the soldier tells his colleagues, while they are on the truck.
After an attack by Nazi troops, the soldier is left alone. "This is Derek 06, the vehicle is broken down, all my men are dead" he says into the transceiver. "You must reach the Elsenborn rally point" the colleague responds; "it's too long a road, I have the SS crawling all over me" he implores. "Good luck". He then finds refuge with a family, but is discovered by the SS.
