Giuseppe Bonifati - DOO performing arts group
The year
2025 marks the 15th anniversary of Giuseppe Bonifati's company (DOO performing
arts group), celebrating an international career characterized by innovative
research in the performing arts, which a French critic has called "theater
of otherness" in reference to the philosopher Emmanuel Lévinas. Since
2010, Bonifati has written, directed and produced more than 30 works in 30
countries, supported by prestigious partners and institutions. In 2021,
together with Linda Sugataghy, Bonifati founded Det Flyvende Teater, the
world's first theater in an international airport, in Billund, Denmark, and
continues to create unique artistic experiences that invite audiences to
reflect on issues of great topicality and human relevance.
