Sony Music releases “Michael: Songs from the Motion Picture”, the official soundtrack for “Michael,” the biographical film about Michael Jackson. Jaafar Jackson portrays his uncle in the production, directed by Antoine Fuqua and produced by Oscar winner Graham King (“Bohemian Rhapsody”).
The album arrives April 24 in digital format and physical editions—CD, cassette, LP, and 2LP with various color variants, including an exclusive black ice transparent vinyl available solely through the Sony Music official store.
The soundtrack contains 13 tracks featured in the biopic, tracing the fundamental stages of Michael Jackson’s career: from his beginnings with The Jackson 5 and The Jacksons through his solo triumph with albums like Off the Wall and Thriller, including timeless successes such as “Billie Jean,” “Don’t Stop 'Til You Get Enough,” “Human Nature,” and others.

The film “Michael,” releasing in theaters April 22 distributed by Lionsgate and Universal Pictures, chronicles the life and artistic legacy of Michael Jackson, one of music history’s most influential artists: from the discovery of his talent as frontman of The Jackson 5 through his transformation into a visionary and innovative artist, presenting moments from his private life alongside some of his solo career’s most recognizable performances. Directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by John Logan, the film is produced by Oscar winner Graham King for GK Films, together with John Branca and John McClain, and will premiere internationally April 10 in Berlin.
The film marks Jaafar Jackson’s cinematic debut in the role of his uncle Michael. The cast includes Nia Long, Juliano Valdi, KeiLyn Durrel Jones, Laura Harrier, with Miles Teller and Colman Domingo. Antoine Fuqua directs, with three-time Oscar nominee John Logan writing the screenplay. Production is handled by Graham King, John Branca, and John McClain.
