Swiss Connections is the new upcoming TV series. Among the actors is Lydia Leist.

You played Helen Kreuzer in Schatten im Paradies. Can you tell us something about the plot?

She is with the detective. It's a murder, it's a crime story on Lake Constance, like, in this beautiful area. And they're trying to find the bad guy, and she's in love with the boss, but of course, he has a girlfriend, so there's this conflict.

Lydia Leist recently attended the Berlin Film Festival's Meet & Greet event, organized by Crawford Talents, Black Universe, Luci Lenox's The Actors Home and Red Carpet Actors, which aims to connect actors, directors and producers. "I think it's very important that you attend these networking events, even though it can be a bit frightening sometimes because there's so many people and then there's a lot of pressure and you think: 'Oh my God, I have to meet someone and I have to meet this famous agent or whatever - Lydia said -  But I think it's crucial that you go there again and again to have a good network".

What are your plans for the future? 

I’m doing a play and something for television, and after that I don't know yet. This is also the industry, you never know what's coming along.
