So when I got the call to be part of the 25th anniversary celebration alongside Post Malone and J Balvin, I was ecstatic.” In July 2020, Katy Perry's new single “Smile” was released, which is also the title track of her new album coming out the following month: “I wrote this song when I was going through one of the darkest periods of my life,” says Perry.
