Movie Fuori dalla caverna

The documentary Fuori dalla caverna, directed by Christian Gandini, director and artistic director of the Festival della Consapevolezza in Padua, has been selected to participate in the Awareness Film Festival in Los Angeles. The documentary will also be shown in Oxford during the annual conference of the Eurotas Global Transpersonal Network.

The plot of the documentary is inspired by the famous Platonic myth of leaving the cave of one's limitations: narrated and made in collaboration with Pier Luigi Lattuada, it explores themes related to mindfulness and inner transformation. It features Lama Michel Rimpoche, Serge Beddington-Behrens, Steve Taylor and Marco Bertali. Some of them are the protagonists of the 2024 edition of the Awareness Festival.

The documentary itself reflects the mission of the 2024 Awareness Festival: to promote mindful reflection across various spiritual and philosophical disciplines. The festival opens with a yoga and meditation practice led by Master Antonio Nuzzo at the Palazzo della Ragione, one of Padua's most prestigious venues and a UNESCO World Heritage Site thanks to Giotto's frescoes. The theme chosen for the 2024 edition is The Voice of Silence.

Workshops include "The Value of Silence: Meditate and Walk. The senses of listening in action", "Neurobiology of thinking: a journey between East and West", "Silence makes memories indelible", "The soul of houses", "Frequencies of silence and sounds for the soul", "Music workshop: playing sounds, touching silences".
