American Made is a Criminal-Drama Cartel Thriller that Stars Tom Cruise and is directed by Doug Liman. Who as you know also directed and produced The Jason Bourne franchise of films. Cruise took on the role of Barry Seal who I can say is NOT a fictional character and because of that I expect a lot of buzz around this film. I'll leave the 'non-fiction' fact finding up to the audience to research. It is set in the 80's. I think the audience will agree that it's a fantastic story to tell. Cruise is like a well calibrated machine when it comes to his work. He's focused and intense on set and that is contagious.
