The film tells the effort of a team to defend an American team present in Benghazi, after the terrorists killed the ambassador.

The film tells the true account of the events of September 11, 2012 when Islamic militants attacked the American diplomatic compound and a CIA station called The Annex in Benghazi, Libya from the personal stories of five of the surviving American private security operators that were on the ground that day. The purpose of the movie is I think to pay tribute to the bravery and commitment of those 6 heroes of Benghazi, who even if they were not active duty military at the time of the attack yet didn't hesitate to lay their lives on the line to push back the terrorist attack during 13 hours and save their countrymen. The movie tells the true story of that night in Benghazi and how much some men and women are capable of altruism and selfnesness. It shows how strong we are when we fight hand in hand. That one should not lose hope and stop fighting and believing.
