Short Open House 1-4, interview with actress Tanya Christiansen and director Brad Holloway
What does a house have to have to like?
Brad Holloway. This is a beachfront community comprised mostly of retired Baby Boomers so they tend to go for large homes in close proximity to the beach or a golf course with conservative interior design, mostly white/beige. I prefer the more eclectic interior design in Los Angeles. Also, as a Millennial, I don't see the point of living in a 6 bedroom/7 bathroom 5000 sq. ft. home when it's just you and your wife, but go figure. The beaches here in Southwest Florida are much nicer than in Southern California, no marine layer, no wetsuit needed, powder white sand, cleaner water, etc. The surfing is better on the East Coast of Florida, and California has much better surfing than Florida in general. So it depends on your taste and what you like to do at the beach. If you just want to sunbathe, Florida is your best bet.
