WandaVision, interview with TV series actress Selena Anduze: 'The nostalgia genre is huge'
WandaVision goes streaming on Disney +
The series combines a narrative in which there are superpowers, with the sitcom. Do you like this genre?
Jac Schaeffer and Matt Shakman do such a phenomenal job bringing this new infusion of creativity to the MCU. The nostalgia genre is huge right now, and the WandaVision team masterfully crafted America’s favorite sitcom styles throughout TV history into a world that encapsulates Wanda and Vision, while still honoring true Marvel style. It’s relatable, comical, and suspenseful. I am awed by what they have achieved with this show and could not be prouder to be a part of it!
