Animated movie Goat, playful little goat with Caleb McLaughlin and Gabrielle Union

Goat is the upcoming animated movie. The plot is set in a world populated only by animals, and follows Will, a small goat with big dreams who gets a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to enter the professional ranks and play roarball, a high-intensity, mixed, full-contact sport dominated by the world's fastest and fiercest animals.

Will's new teammates aren't thrilled to have a little goat on their roster, but Will is determined to revolutionize this sport and prove once and for all that "the little ones can play too!"

The main voice cast features Caleb McLaughlin as Will Harris, a goat; Gabrielle Union as Jett Fillmore, a black leopard; Nick Kroll as Modo Olachenko, a fire-breathing dragon; Nicola Coughlan as Olivia Burke, an ostrich; David Harbour as Archie Everhardt, a rhinoceros; Stephen Curry as Lenny Williamson, a giraffe; Jenifer Lewis as Florence Everson, owner of the Thorns; and Patton Oswalt as Dennis, coach of the Thorns.

The movie is produced by Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation in association with Unanimous Media and Modern Magic, distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing. It is directed by Tyree Dillihay, co-directed by Adam Rosette, and written by Aaron Buchsbaum and Teddy Riley. The movie will release in US theaters on February 12, 2026.
