The plot of Off Campus: when opposites attract

Hannah Wells is a reserved student, dedicated to musical composition. Garrett Graham is the star of Briar University's hockey team. The first season follows their journey through love, emotional betrayal and self-discovery, while they build deep bonds and navigate towards the transition to adulthood.

The series is based on the Off-Campus book collection by Elle Kennedy, composed of five titles. The Deal, the first novel published in 2015, constitutes the narrative foundation of the inaugural season. The Mistake was released the same year, while The Score and The Goal were published in 2016. The Legacy concluded the saga in 2021.

The cast of Off Campus: from The Crown to Until Dawn

Ella Bright plays Hannah Wells. The British actress was nominated for a BAFTA for her role in Malory Towers. Belmont Cameli plays Garrett Graham: the actor recently tackled horror in the movie Until Dawn, adaptation of the 2015 video game, where he plays Abe. Before this, Cameli acted in the crime drama The Alto Knights, released in 2025, in the role of Frankie Boy, and in the series Saved by the Bell as Jamie Spano.

Mika Abdalla plays Allie Hayes. The actress appeared in the Max series The Pitt and in the comedy movie Snack Shack from 2024. Antonio Cipriano is John Logan: he acted in Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin and in National Treasure: Edge of History. The main cast also includes Jalen Thomas Brooks, who had a recurring role in The Pitt, Josh Heuston and Stephen Kalyn, seen in Gen V.

Off Campus streaming: when and where to watch it

The series will debut on Prime Video on May 13, 2026. Amazon MGM Studios has already renewed Off Campus for a second season in February 2026, even before the premiere. The narrative structure follows the model of the novels: each season focuses on a different couple, keeping the other characters part of the overall narrative.

Louisa Levy and Gina Fattore are co-showrunners and executive producers. Temple Hill, through Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen and James Seidman, produces together with Leanna Billings of Billings Productions and Neal Flaherty. Elle Kennedy appears as producer.

The college drama formula meets sports romance

Off Campus fits into a trend that has recently seen the success of series like Heated Rivalry. The college soap opera built around an elite hockey team takes up dynamics familiar to the audience: deep friendships, romantic rivalries, personal growth.
