You also worked in the television series "General Hospital", "Murder in the First". Do you prefer television or cinema?
General Hospital was one of my first network gigs, that was a great experience and they ended up bringing me back for a few more episodes, so I am very grateful for that show. Also, my Mom is a big fan of the show and the characters I got to work with! MURDER IN THE FIRST was fun, my episode was directed by Eriq La Salle, from ER, which was one of my Mom's favorite shows, so that was fun. I have been lucky to do a few different television shows and work with some of my favorite actors in the process. I will say though, that film has always taken up a big space in my heart, so being in my first major studio film with my involvement in RIDE ALONG 2, is by far one of my most exciting experiences.
I got lucky, because you don't always make the final cut on films like these when they shoot so much fun stuff. However, since my scene was added after the fact, I knew we had better odds of making the cut. It ended up being a scene they highlighted in most trailers, including promotional tours they did on all the major Talk shows and news outlets. Getting messages from my friend saying they just played the clip on ELLEN, was probably one of my biggest highlights! I'm so glad to have been a part of it.
