Milan Fashion Week Man: Salvatore Ferragamo fall winter 2026 collection
Ferragamo unveiled the first chapter of “Legends, Reimagined” at Milan Fashion Week. This landmark project pays tribute to the Italian craftsmanship and human achievement, honouring Salvatore Ferragamo’s pioneering spirit and passionate dedication as the “Shoemaker of Dreams.” “Legends, Reimagined” is an ongoing series that celebrates the brand’s iconic designs alongside inspiring figures who exemplify excellence through their mastery and boundary-pushing vision. It delves into the essence of Ferragamo’s legacy, beginning with the Tramezza shoe: the finest expression of shoemaking, a process requiring over 160 handcrafted steps - a testament to the distinction of Made in Italy. To launch the project, Ferragamo has partnered with Italian skiing legend Alberto Tomba, a charismatic athlete recognized as a true outsider in the skiing world. Coming from the hills of Bologna rather than the traditional mountain peaks, Tomba defied convention through raw instinct and a relentless pursuit of perfection. Just as the Tramezza embodies Ferragamo’s shoemaking genius, so Tomba’s unique way of skiing - a blend of explosive power, technical prowess, and dynamic grace - set him apart as an emblem of Italian excellence on the world stage. Alongside the presentation of the core Tramezza collection, complemented by Tomba’s personal wooden last, the event highlighted the Made-to-Order programme, a bespoke service offering a selection of precious leathers such as alligator, ostrich, and hand-finished calfskin. This premier experience enables clients to customise their shoes, epitomising Ferragamo’s commitment to shaping unique creations that carry the wearer’s own signature and identity, complete with initials set into the insole.
