Milan Fashion Week Man: Lardini fall winter 2026 collection
The Origins, the Lardini Autumn-Winter 2026/27 collection, is an act of elegant resistance against the ephemeral, against inconsistency. It is an invitation to dress consciously, to rediscover meaning in detail, direction in material, and in coherence a form of silent beauty. This is not about going back, but about taking root. About recognizing in the past not a limitation, but the confirmation of one's own competencies. About understanding that modernity is never detachment but perpetual evolution—where the new flourishes if nourished by memory.
Luigi Lardini states: "Le Origini is the conscious narration of our language. The objective is to valorize the tangible quality of the product and the perception of discreet luxury. Essential forms, exclusive textile structures, natural chromatic palettes, equilibrium between sartorial tradition and contemporary practicality. Authenticity and balance for a sophisticated, intimate, credible mood." The collection unfolds through four interwoven narratives: from Contemporary Tailoring, in which sartorial heritage embraces essential lines and modern functionality, to Iconic Outerwear, which reinterprets timeless garments with constructions".
Everything begins with fabrics. And not as simple raw material, but as a place of sensibility. The research becomes almost precise, experimental, almost spiritual: full and airy carded wools, brushed flannels with a warm, dry touch, mouliné melted into effects that soften chromatic contrasts into liquid nuances. Vanisé (a technique that weaves color into the very construction of the yarn) designs vibrant surfaces capable of evoking emotional depth. Jaspé yarns fragment into organic micro-textures, while 18-thread silk—ultra-fine and light—takes knitwear toward new territories of intimacy and precision. Salt-dyed velvets, brushed flannels, dry wools offer body without weight, substance without constriction. The details matter too: tone-on-tone piping, inserts of sartorial technology, discreet laser cuts that update the archetype. The trench, the Ulster, the coat find a new voice in double cashmere, brushed wools, fur-effect wool constructions. The "jersely" is reinterpreted in knitted outdoor pieces, with an embracing comfort.
