When you moved to Los Angeles, what was the thing you loved and hated most?
The thing I loved the most was the abundance of opportunity. There were many more jobs offered to me commercially than there were in New York. I started auditioning for more projects that were “for my type,” whereas in New York, I had more classical dance opportunities for me.
The part that was the hardest was the social sacrifice I made. Most of my friends are still in college, pursing their majors and going to each other’s birthday or bachelorette parties. I always have to miss out because of work and going on spontaneous girl’s trips and having fun.
