The Bride!

In third place enters The Bride! ($7,260,000): in 1930s Chicago, Frankenstein asks Dr. Euphronius to help him create a companion. The two give life to a murdered woman, the Bride. But the police get on the woman’s trail, and the experiment also triggers a radical social change.

GOAT

In fourth place drops the animated movie GOAT ($83,803,047): a small goat with big dreams has the unique opportunity to join the professionals and play roarball, a mixed sport that blends basketball, soccer and rugby, played by animals in interactive stadiums. The sport is high physical contact, dominated by the fastest and fiercest animals in the world.

Wuthering Heights

In fifth place loses two positions Wuthering Heights ($78,764,775): Earnshaw, Catherine’s father (Margot Robbie), is a wealthy man who owns the villa of Wuthering Heights. When Earnshaw brings home a filthy child, Heathcliff - perhaps gypsy - Catherine immediately gets along with him, while brother Hindley does not. As adults, Catherine’s brother torments Heathcliff (Jacob Elordi) who declares revenge on him. Edgar falls in love with her and marries her, and Heathcliff becomes even colder towards her.

Another new release is in twelfth place with Protector($744,024): the quiet life of former war heroine Nikki is shattered by her daughter’s kidnapping. Catapulted into the criminal world while hunted by police and military, she must fight to save her daughter.

In sixteenth place is Dolly($480,000): Macy, a young woman, is kidnapped by a monstrous figure intent on raising her as if she were their daughter.

In thirty-first place is Pompei: Below the Clouds($18,848): Gianfranco Rosi’s documentary shows Naples as it faces the double volcanic threat of Vesuvius and the Campi Flegrei. Amid growing tremors, archaeologists work while residents live in anxiety, tormented by Pompeii’s fate and the workload that emergency services face.
