Milan Fashion Week 2026: FENDI’s Vision for FW26-27

Milan Fashion Week 2026 is poised to be a turning point, not only for fashion but for the very reflection on the role of dressing in our era. Among the most anticipated collections, FENDI FW26-27, signed for the first time by Maria Grazia Chiuri, stands out for a motto that is already a manifesto: Less I, more we. This declaration of intent synthesizes a working method that prioritizes creative cohesion and the value of collective making, a call to Italian craftsmanship and feminine creativity that the Maison seeks to recover and reaffirm.

The collection presents itself as a personal geographic map, where garments are not mere clothes but encounters, moments, cultural exchanges. A nomadism within and through fashion, which overcomes the traditional opposition between feminine and masculine, transforming them into adjectives to describe shared qualities. Men and women walk together, surpassing the distinction between male and female wardrobes, to return to thinking of clothes as objects of daily life, called to accompany life, emotions, and desire.

A central element is the return to the body and desire, in a present where bodies are often less listened to in their most earthly and authentic impulses. The wardrobe thus becomes a space that welcomes and makes these impulses visible, without disciplining them but accompanying them in a tactile and sensitive way.
