How do you consider the Mediterranean diet?
The
Galveston Diet has many similarities to the Mediterranean Diet and
was slightly modeled after the similar health principles. This is a
great example that shows how incorporating healthy fats as with the
Mediterranean Diet (avocado, olive oil, nuts, fatty fish) is vital to
your health. The main difference between the two programs is that we
focus on macro and micronutrients, and provide concrete meal plans as
examples and hours of scientific education so that our students truly
understand the impact of the choices that they are making.
