Antonio Marras Fall-Winter 2026-27 Collection: The Breath of the Caragol
Antonio Marras presents the Fall-Winter 2026/27 collection, titled The Breath of the Caragol, the Jana and the Rose. The narrative of the collection unfolds through a suspended dialogue between who we are and the contemporary act of inhabiting one’s own soul, a theme that translates into a wardrobe freed from the dust of time to become pure elegance.
The collection is born from a poetic image: an ancient silence made of gold, woven by the walking of ants. In this setting, among wild gardens and roots drinking the shade, a figure named Jana, with cloud-like feet, meets the Caragol, the snail that offers its home as intimate and symbolic architecture. Jana, who never enters a dwelling without gifts, transforms the shell into a nomadic refuge, embroidering purplish and powder-hued roses that turn the shell into brocade, transforming the spiral into a traveling secret garden. When the snail resumes its journey, it carries an enchantment that leaves an invisible trace of beauty scented with rain and Mediterranean scrub.
The collection is characterized by harmonious contrasts that transform the archetype into creation. Impalpable sage green silk tunics emerge beneath veils of lace, while tailored jackets with masculine patterns converse with black prints crossed by gray-golden filaments. In the lace, hints of carmine red and bordeaux draw climbing roses on an ecru background.
Inlays, velvets, damasks, and brocades alternate on garments such as reinterpreted parkas, kimonos, and tailored men’s jackets. Particularly notable are the limited edition jackets, made from pieces of other forgotten and rediscovered jackets, reassembled and inset with embroidered roses. The color palette ranges from bordeaux to teal, passing through ivory and brown, offering a profound and tactile reading of beauty.
The absolute protagonist of the collection is the Caragol, the bag whose name in Algherese means snail. Entirely Made in Italy, the Caragol is the result of a skillful manual process. It is not a simple object but an amulet full of meaning, an extension of one’s own home to carry into the world. Its color palette, ranging from bordeaux to teal, passing through ivory and brown, delivers a tactile and profound interpretation of beauty.
The Caragol embraces the see now buy now philosophy. Starting February 25, the collection becomes immediately available in flagship stores in Milan Montenapoleone, Rome, Florence, and New York, as well as online. This approach represents an invitation to slow down, transforming every journey into a garden of roses, a gesture that cancels waiting and makes the present time a space of experience.
Antonio Marras’s Fall-Winter 2026/27 collection is configured as a project of suspended elegance, weaving memory and contemporaneity through precious materials, harmonious contrasts, and profound symbolism. The Caragol, with its nature as an amulet and nomadic refuge, embodies the heart of this narrative, proposing a new idea of beauty lived and carried with oneself into the world.
