Discover the ranking of the most-watched movies in the USA, from Minions & Monsters to Toy Story 5: plot and cast
Minions & Monsters
The box office of the most-watched movies in the United States from July 3 to 5, 2026 - with still provisional data - sees in first place Minions & Monsters ($61,441,395): the Minions find themselves in 1920s Hollywood, engaged in the search for scary creatures for their horror movie. Together, they ally with a little green monster and must save the planet after unleashing monsters.
Toy Story 5
In second place descends Toy Story 5 ($366,348,690): the life of Woody, Buzz, Jessie and the rest of the gang is put to the test when they discover electronics. Woody has left Bonnie to help abandoned toys find an owner, and Jessie leads the charge in Bonnie's room, with Buzz Lightyear as her second in command. However, Bonnie has fallen in love with her new favorite toy, a new generation tablet, shaped like a frog called Lilypad.
Young Washington
In third place enters Young Washington ($20,847,68): young George Washington finds himself facing war, betrayal and impossible choices that will forge the leader within him.
Supergirl
In fourth place descends Supergirl ($58,500,000): Kara Zor-El, alias Supergirl, joins forces with an unlikely colleague - seeking revenge after the extermination of her family - on an interstellar journey, to find an antidote that will save the prized dog Krypto.
Disclosure Day
In fifth place remains Disclosure Day ($105,311,885): as a vast government conspiracy emerges, a whistleblower seeks to trigger an extraordinary event that will forever change the history of humanity. It is the day of the definitive revelation of the existence of extraterrestrials.
Another novelty is in twenty-second place, with Mary Oliver: Saved by the Beauty of the World ($23,197): the documentary tells of Mary Oliver, Pulitzer Prize-winning poet and queer icon, who has conquered readers everywhere with her celebration of nature, dogs and life itself.
In twenty-third place there is Sherman's March ($10,000): documentarian Ross McElwee retraces the march of Union General Sherman, towards the end of the American Civil War, although he is continuously distracted by his love life.
