FanVestor, the new platform where fans invest in talent: the interview
Larry Namer is the COO of FanVestor
I read that the future of social networks will be that of platforms with niche users. Do you agree?
Technology has allowed for smaller and smaller niche interests to have a voice in media. When I first got into the workforce there were only three TV networks in the United States. Then technology came along that brought the cost of entry way down, and opened the door for the cable TV industry and the rapid expansion to dozens and even hundreds of networks. Then came the Internet which allowed anyone with a computer and a connection the ability to create a Website and have their voice put out to the public. Mobile devices with ever increasing capabilities and qualities have made it so that anyone who wants to create content can now do so. So there will be media vehicles and contest creation for just about every niche audience you can think of, and even the creation of new audiences.
